Figures
| The foundation of all good skating, figures demands extreme concentration, body posture and control. Each skating athlete retraces a series of figure patterns, demonstrating specific edges-combining in increasing levels of difficulty, take offs and turns on a set of circles painted on the skating surface. Through the progressive levels of the R.S.A. proficiency testing program, each student has the opportunity to challenge their improvement by demonstrating increased skill levels that will be judged as to the execution of take offs, edge quality, body posture, control and varioius turns. |
