The head coaches of our program are Larry and Pam Richardson. The Richardsons began their skating careers in the mid 1950's and were dance, figure and freestyle champions at the regional and national levels. In addition, Larry and Pam accomplished the highest levels of proficiency in our sport and each hold their gold medal in dance and a gold bar in figures. Larry holds gold bar in freestyle as well.
Larry and Pam began their coaching careers in 1974 and are extremely proud to have had the honor and privilege to train all levels and disciplines of skaters from the brand new beginning skater to the R.S.A. gold medalist. They have trained champions at the regional, national, world class, and international level. We are confident that all our club members will benefit from the Richardson's personal warmth, professionalism and lifetime of dedication to our sport. You will find Larry and Pam, to possess an extremely high level of teaching expertise in all the skating disciplines of dance, figures, and freestyle.

Dianna Richardson
As the youngest member of our USARS Certified coaching staff, Dianna Richardson brings fresh and innovative ideas to the party, benefiting our skaters and staff.
Dianna began her coaching career in 2002 after making her mark in Freestyle and Pairs up to and including the World Class level at the Regional and National Championships.
Dianna earned over 25 championship medals over a skating career that started at eleven months of age. She is a "kid magnet" and has attracted many new skaters to Freestyle and Figure competition. Coaching along side of her parents, Larry and Pam, Dianna already has many Regional and National Champions to her credit. Dianna's demonstrated unique ability in the choreography of her skaters' routines and has skaters from across the nation coming to her to benefit from her natural talent. Club members enjoy Dianna's freshness of youth and personal warmth, as well as her technical coaching and choreography abilities.
Karen Sertich
Also coaching at Chandler Skating Academy is Karen Sertich. Miss Sertich brings an abundance of skating experience and coaching knowledge to benefit our skating customers. Karen began competing in the 1970's. Through Karen's determination and consistent practice, she achieved her goals and became an accomplished dance and figure competitor, as well as a regional and national champion.
Miss Sertich began coaching in the early 1990's and is very excited with the accomplishments of all her students. Following Karen's example, as well as her gentle yet consistent encouragement, several of her skaters have become regional and national champions.
Miss Sertich continues in her pursuit to expand her skating expertise and over the years, has attained additional recognition as a highly qualified judge. Karen shares that knowledge with new judges as our panel chairmen.
Miss Sertich's dedication and knowledge of our sport has been recognized by her fellow skating instructors, she has been re-elected over the past four years, serving as our Arizona league president.
We are very fortunate to have Karen as a member of our staff. She is a highly organized, motivated instructor and serves as an inspiration to all who aspire to learn and improve their skating skills.
